Update On Tentative Agreement

To: All Members involved in National Handling

As most of you are aware, the remaining organizations reached a Tentative Agreement with the NCCC early this morning. In this T/A train crews were given a few days (unpaid) to attend “certain medical appointments” which is not considered economical. However, they did receive a cap on their insurance contributions beginning at the end of 2024 and continuing until a new Agreement is reached. This morning, the IBEW enacted the “Me Too” Clause in our T/A and we will also receive the cap. We will still vote on the T/A that arrives in the mail, a side letter is being prepared and will be added to the Agreement if it ratifies.
