To All Railroad Local Unions with Members Covered Under the National Agreement

Dear Sisters and Brothers, Today we received a ballot back in the return envelope we sent out with our initial ratification. We can only assume that the “original” ballot was also used. And when we checked the postmark on the envelope, we discovered that it was mailed to us before the new ratification packet was even mailed out! Please advise all of your members that if they want to take part in the ratification process, they must use the return envelopes that are in the ratification packets we just sent out. These return envelopes already have your name and return address in the upper left hand corner. Also, the members must use the ballots in those packets. The new ballots are marked with “April 2018” in the bottom right-hand corner. Any old ballots received will not be counted! Finally, please remind your members that all ballots must be received in our office no later than May 7th, 2018. Any ballots received after that will not be counted!
