To All Local Unions with Members Covered Under National Bargaining: Dear Sisters and Brothers, Attached please find a bargaining update that will be posted on the IBEW website, Railroad Department section, next Tuesday. We were waiting to firm up a mediation date with the railroads before we posted this. Please share this with your members in the workplace, and also let them know it is posted on the IBEW website, as you are the IBEW’s communication link between us and them. Unfortunately, for some reason a few members have contacted us and advised us that they didn’t know the tentative agreement was rejected, even though we sent out an email to all local unions advising of such within 2 hours after the vote count was finalized.
